Reasons

One of the reasons that I am creating this blog to share the story of 1 Aspie/Aspergian (to quote someone else, “If you have met one Aspie, you have met one!”).  One of the most challenging aspects of the ASD is that each person is truly unique in appearance, abilities, backgrounds, and interests.

The other reasons for this blog are an attempt to collect as much information on resources as possible into one site and then help people make use of the information.

To this point, the the future imagined by parents of ASD children has been fraught with worries, what ifs, and lack of direction.  I hope to be part of the solution to finding and/or developing the means for our children to have a meaningful, purposeful, and self-reliant adult life.
